Warmond Golf Special gaat niet door
WARMOND – De elfde editie van de Warmond Golf Special ging zondag 29 augustus niet door vanwege het feit dat te weinig mensen zich hadden ingeschreven. Desgevraagd liet mede-organisator Jacques Staal (Stichting Community Services / Rotary Club Oegstgeest e.o.) weten: “Er was dit jaar te weinig animo; slechts 13 flights hadden zich ingeschreven en we willen minimaal 16 flights hebben. De kosten zijn te hoog om het voor zo weinig mensen te organiseren en kijkend naar het weer is het maar goed ook dat het dit jaar niet doorgaat. We proberen het volgend jaar echter weer om de elfde editie van de Warmond Golf Special te organiseren.’
